NIC was invited to present the extent of operationalization of eprocurement systems in states with an emphasis on Online Payment , automatic refund & Interface with FMIS in context of GePNIC as World Bank, under the aegis of 'Lighthouse India', has organized a PFM Round Table during May 9th and 10th , 2019 in New Delhi.
It was attended by 8 states and representatives from the DEA, C&AG, CGA, NIC, GeM, IMF, ADB and the World Bank. This was the first in a series of 'deep dive' technical sessions whose objective was to understand 'how' states were implementing PFM reforms in three areas namely - i) Discontinuation of Letter of Credit for Works Department & Submission of accounts and vouchers to the AG in the electronic form; ii) E-procurement; iii) Budget Transparency and Accountability.
