One-day e-Procurement workshop-cum-training was organized on 15th January 2020 at O/o State Water and Sanitation Mission, 1st Floor, The Institution of Engineers Building, opposite ISBT, Dehradun. A presentation was provided to engineers and other officials (30 nos.) of UK Peyjal Nigam, Peyjal Sansthan, and SWSM. The session was jointly chaired by Shri V.K. Sinha, Project Advisor, SPSV, and Shri Mohamad Wasim Ahmad, Director - WSSO. In the first half of the Presentation “How to create and publish tender” was explained to the department and in second half of the presentation “How to create/publish Corrigendum as well as Technical Opening, Technical Evaluation, Financial Opening, Financial Evaluation and AoC” process were described in detail.
In addition to this, detailed know how about World Bank funded tenders, and QCBS tenders were discussed and elaborated with examples, as many participants were keen to get insight into it. Future technical change in the e-tendering process e.g. “The Bid Openers type 2 of 2 will be discontinued from 1st March 2020 onwards” emphasized and highlighted in the meeting. The safe usage and importance of DSCs as per IT Act 2000 was explained and conveyed to all about new DSCs of Class-III is to be procured in future.

During the entire session, all the queries and doubts raised up by the officials were resolved and answered successfully. At last, the meeting was concluded with vote of thanks from Director WSSO to NIC as well as all participants for attending the session.
