Second National Workshop on Central Public Procurement Portal was held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on 21st January 2019. The workshop was jointly organised by Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance and National Informatics Centre,Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India. During the workshop, awards were presented to the Best Performing States on electronic procurement. CPP portal is implemented using GePNIC software of NIC.

The Department of Expenditure. Ministry of Finance has Selected the Union Territory or Dadra and Nagar Haveli for best Performance award in procurement tendering through Government procurement System of NIC (GePNIC) which was carried out between April 2017 and March 2018.Shri. Ajay Sawhney,Secretary-MeitY, GC Murmu OSD cum Secretary, Shri. SanJay Prasad, Joint Secretary, Department of Expenditure, Dr. Neeta Verma, Director General NIC, Shri. Nagesh Shastri, DDG & HOG –procurement were present on the occasion of Award ceremony at second National Workshop on CPPP -2019.
