NIC e-Procurement portal for Delhi Govt. was launched on 01/04/2011 and currently more than 200 Tender Inviting Authorities have implemented this system.
NIC e-procurement software application has provided us benefits of a streamlined process flow, transparency, standardized procurement procedures, minimal paperwork, faster tender process, absence of disputes amongst others since 2011. NIC has a dedicated team which handles queries and addresses the issues related to vendors / Tender Inviting Authorities. The application has been extremely useful in e-Governance.
In the National Conference of Public Procurement organised by Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance in January 2018, a Special Category Award was given to Delhi Govt eProcurement system for having achieved the maximum coverage amongst all states. Back
