The Chandigarh Housing Board was having unsold properties (Residential & Commercial) at different locations in the City. Sale of the properties was being done once in two/three years and the large number of unsold constructed properties was a reason of worry because these were deteriorating. In last about two years, the e-Tenders process for disposal of unsold properties is being done on monthly basis. The CHB has succeeded in sale of 283 properties and has earned an amount of Rs. 190.58 crores during last about 20 months.
